A Harpur college alumn, Dr. Barrie Raik went on to become a physician. She studied at The New York School of medicine and was employed at the Weil College of Medicine through Cornell University as well as Columbia- Presbyterian Med.]]> Janet met her spouse, David Muir, at Harpur; she did not finish her degree at Harpur College since she supported her husband through his PhD program at Syracuse University. She earned her degree at Syracuse subsequently and worked as an adjunct instructor in English at Onondaga Community. Looking back, Janet says they've led a "charmed life."]]>
