Max Reinhardt Promptbooks

Description

Two promptbooks, bound in folders, each labelled Part I and Part II respectively. All text in English, handwritten notes in German. English promptbook pages accompanied by typewritten transcripts of Reinhardt’s German notes translated into English. Most notes are notes on characters and stage directions. Markings in purple pen, red pencil, blue pencil, and black pencil.
