Jerry Raik is director of the Havurah School at Ansche Chesed on the upper west side of Manhattan. At Havurah, elementary school students learn a wide variety of Jewish subjects, primarily through the arts. Before that, Jerry had "the opportunity and good fortune to 'stay home' and be a significant daytime caregiver to each of his three children.
A Harpur college alumn, Dr. Barrie Raik went on to become a physician. She studied at The New York School of medicine and was employed at the Weil College of Medicine through Cornell University as well as Columbia- Presbyterian Med.
