He describes the day's menu and sends the regards of a fellow soldier, Charles Woolent. Stationary contains illustration titled 'Battle of Fair Oaks-June 1 1862'. Original format: 1 sheet, 20 x 25 cm folded to 13 x 20 cm, and 1 envelope, 8 x 14 cm.
