Biographical Text

Anna Lewkowicz was born in Ukraine. She first went to Germany where she worked in a forced labor camp for five years. Her sister, who was in the United States, obtained the proper papers to have her come to the United States. She is married, has two children and lives in the Southern Tier with her family.
