Dr. Charles Murray is a Political Scientist, author, and columnist. Born in Newton, Iowa, Murray received his Bachelor's degree from Harvard University in 1965. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from MIT. With Richard Herrnstein he cowrote the book The Bell Curve (1994), which looked at IQ as a determinant of socioeconomic status. In 2018, Murray announced his retirement as the W.H. Brady Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute.
