    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Recipient of Distinguished Alumnus Award. Principal of Schneider Mediation. Avid athlete at Harpur College. (His nickname at Harpur was “Peanuts.”) Mediation judge in Phoenix. He (Ret.) served on the Maricopa County Superior Court for 21 years, from 1986 to 2007. He first practiced in New York City and moved to Phoenix in 1971. He was an associate at Langerman, Begam, Lewis, Leonard &amp; Marks until 1977, when he formed the partnership Rosen &amp; Schneider, Ltd. He has a strong background in Arizona civil litigation from the perspective of both a judge and a civil trial attorney. While on the bench, he served on the Criminal Department, in addition to serving as Presiding Civil Department Judge and Presiding Family Law Judge. His 18-month tenure on the Arizona Supreme Court’s Committee on Jury Reform led to groundbreaking changes in the rules and practice of jury trials in Arizona.]]></dcterms:description>

    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Belva Davis is an award winning journalist who has covered politics for over forty years. She has anchored three major network affiliates CBS, NBC and PBS. This includes a political affairs program on KQED-San Francisco that is one the most watched public stations in America. In 2008, Belva Davis was inducted into the National Association of Black Journalists Hall of Fame. She has received eight regional Emmys for reporting on a variety of topics including the AIDS Epidemic, Castro's Cuba, Bready Cancer and Learning Disabilities. She was the first African American woman on the West Coast and was profiled in the NEWSEUM, the world's first interactive museum of news. Davis is the author of the book <em>Never in My Wildest Dreams: A Black Woman's Life in Journalism</em>.]]></dcterms:description>
