Sue Castaldo
Sue is a retired small business owner. She managed a successful retail candy business, “Candy in Bloom,” in Phoenix for 25 years. Prior to that she worked in customer service for Bank of America in Phoenix. She earned an MBA from Adelphi University in 1983. She also worked as a teacher in Vestal Schools and taught adults in Illinois. She has four children.

Stephen Norman Weiss
Stephen Norman Weiss is an attorney in New York specializing in Litigation, Patent and Trademark and Intellectual Property cases. He is managing partner at Stephen Norman Weiss Law Office, but currently semi-retired. He pursued a liberal arts education at Harpur College, which he believes was on par with an education from an elite private college. His JD is from New York Law School.
Rodney Alexander
Harpur College BA Social Sciences, '68 Rodney Alexander was executive director of the Manhattan Educational Opportunity Center at the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC), CUNY. After graduating from Harpur College, he completed degrees in public administration and in business administration from NYU. His wife, Daryl Royster Alexander, was the founding editor of Essence magazine.
Reverend Canon Claudia Wilson
Reverend Claudia is a semi-retired priest at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Yonkers. Before her ordination into the priesthood, she worked in publishing. At Harpur College, she was the first woman elected head of the student government.
Philip Nachman
Philip is owner of his Watertown, Mass.-based business, Nachman BioMedical, Medical Industry Exec Search, a recruiting firm for selling medical devices. At Harpur College, Philip created his own major in American studies, which included a class in Jewish-American literature.
Paula Baxter
Paula is a practicing design historian. She is the author of three books on Native American jewelry, along with numerous magazine articles on American Indian arts and design. Before that, she was a professor in the humanities at Berkeley College in Westchester County, New York. Previously she worked as an art librarian and curator at the New York Public Library for 22 years.
Michael F. McGoff
Dr. McGoff is senior vice provost and Chief Financial Officer for Binghamton University. His doctorate was in computer-oriented onomastics, the study of names, which he programmed to study the indigenous languages spoken in New York State.
